One of the most famous recording amps of all time. Clapton, Gibbons, Joe Walsh, so many famous tones from this circuit.
The Tweed Princeton was the next line of practice amps after the Champ models with similarities of an 8” speaker and single ended class A with 5 watts output. The Princeton amp basically housed the same circuit as the Champ although with added low-pass tone control, larger output transformer and a larger cabinet. The Princeton will respond like a Tweed Champ and will make a great recording amp or a simple practice amplifier.
