This secondhand Champion Cassotto is a C-system instrument with a double tone chamber (cassotto), giving the bassoon and clarinet voices the warm, rounded projection the line is prized for.
This is the Special Musette configuration: five treble voices (LMMMH) with three 8′ reed banks tuned 440/442/444, engaged via the dedicated Muset Open/Closed couplers. The result is a properly wet French/continental musette — a sound that’s very hard to find secondhand in Australia — alongside dry concert registrations from bassoon through piccolo
